5 Tips For Traveling to Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge Park

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is Disney’s latest addition to their Walt Disney World location in Orlando, Florida. Though the location opened this summer, the immersive Star Wars experience is still drawing massive crowds of eager fans. If you’re planning on making the trip to Galaxy’s Edge, use these tips to enjoy a better visit!

Skip the Single Rider Line

Veteran Disney park adventurers know that Disney offers a “single rider line” that allows solo riders faster access to the most popular attractions. Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run does offer a special queue for single riders. However, single riders are often placed in the least desirable seats on the ride, which can impact your viewing experience. Take advantage of the single rider line after you get the chance to ride in the middle of the vehicle.

Talk to the Cast Members

Disney’s employees (called “cast members”) undergo special training to work at Galaxy’s Edge. This helps them seamlessly blend with the unique lore of the Star Wars franchise. Don’t be afraid to ask a cast member about their backstory or their favorite parts of the new addition. Most of the employees are just as excited to enjoy the attraction as you are!

Visit the Cantina Early

Oga’s Cantina offers a fun and exciting way to immerse yourself in Star Wars lore. Unfortunately, the bar is often filled to capacity later in the day. Skip the crowds and visit the Cantina as your first stop when you enter Galaxy’s Edge. Not interested in early morning booze? Opt for the Black Spire Brew, a passion fruit flavored cold brew coffee!

Pre-order Your Drinks

Want to try Roto Wraps’ famous blue milk? Pre-order your drinks of choice using the Walt Disney World app to skip the line!
